Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar called on Kenyan President, Dr William Ruto, during their meeting in China on Tuesday, urging him to expedite the findings of the ongoing investigation into the tragic murder of Pakistani journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya.<\/p>\n

Arshad Sharif, a highly regarded journalist and news anchor, lost his life while in Kenya on October 23 last year.<\/p>\n

“The prime minister respectfully requested President Ruto’s support in facilitating the completion of the report by the Special Joint Investigation Team on the case of the late Pakistani journalist Arshad Sharif,” stated the PM Office in a press release following the meeting.<\/p>\n

The leaders emphasised the importance of economic collaboration and articulated their unwavering determination to fully harness the potential of bilateral trade.<\/p>\n
