Already one the best selling videogame of all time, Minecraft has cleared a major milestone and sold 300 million copies worldwide.<\/p>\n

Helen Chiang, head of Mojang Studios, said, \u201cAs we approach the 15th anniversary, Minecraft<\/em> remains one of the best-selling games of all time, with over 300 million copies sold, a milestone no one could have dreamed of when we were all placing our first blocks.”<\/p>\n

The milestone was announced during Minecraft Live 2023 event which shares news and community updates, along with a neat voting event in which players can vote on which new creature<\/a> should be added to the game.<\/p>\n

The second best selling videogame of all time, Grand Theft Auto V has sold only 185 million copies, while the best selling console PS2 sold 155 million units. Minecraft doesn’t come close to either of these.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
