If you look at it in other terms, it is called momentum,\u201d Rohit told reporters on the eve of the hotly-anticipated match.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have played seven or eight matches in India and before that in Sri Lanka and here too we played two matches of the World Cup.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added: \u201cThe bowlers have shown very good performances. Whether it is spinners or seamers, whenever they have got a chance to put pressure on the batsmen, they have done so. All the batsmen have scored runs.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media  sm:w-1\/2  w-full  media--right  media--embed  media--uneven\">\n<p>    <iframe class=\"nk-iframe\" onload=\"setInterval(()=&gt;{try{this.style.height=this.contentWindow.document.body.scrollHeight+'px';}catch{}}, 100)\" width=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" style=\"height:400px;position:relative\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/card\/1780889\" sandbox=\"allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups allow-modals allow-forms\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Tournament favourites India <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1779993\">beat Australia by six wickets<\/a> and then hammered Afghanistan by eight wickets riding on Rohit\u2019s record seventh World Cup century on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>India also enjoy an unbeaten record against Pakistan in seven World Cup meetings but Rohit doesn\u2019t read too much into it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am not a person who looks into all those kind of stats. We\u2019ve got to play good cricket on that particular day to win the game and that is what we will be focusing on,\u201d said Rohit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd how we are going to play good cricket, which is understanding the conditions, what is required from the team\u2019s perspective and things like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"pakistan-quality\" href=\"#pakistan-quality\" class=\"heading-permalink\" aria-hidden=\"true\" title=\"Permalink\"\/>Pakistan \u2018quality\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>With Pakistan fans still awaiting visas to travel to India, the huge stadium is expecting a capacity home crowd for the key contest.<\/p>\n<p>Rohit, who had earlier spoken about shutting out the outside noise for the big game, said the team\u2019s focus remains on playing a quality opposition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike I said many times before, in the context of it, yes, it\u2019s a massive game. But for us, what is important is, we are playing an opposition tomorrow, which will be quality,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, we\u2019ve just got to come against a quality opposition and play good cricket, which we\u2019ve done in the last two games. And hopefully we can again show some consistency in our performance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>India <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dawn.com\/news\/1775278\">crushed<\/a> Pakistan by 228 runs in the Asia Cup Super Four contest \u2014 their last ODI meeting \u2014 in Colombo last month.<\/p>\n<p>But Rohit said there will be no \u201cpsychological advantage\u201d against a side who have also won their first two matches in the World Cup.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs I said, we should not pay too much attention to what is already over, he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe should pay attention to the fresh day, the fresh opposition. Both the teams will start evenly.
