An exciting art festival featuring a diverse collection of short and feature films is set to captivate audiences at the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) from October 20.<\/p>\n

The three-day festival will host a selection of 28 films, showcasing the talents of both domestic and international filmmakers, said Juniad Zuberi, NAPA CEO, during a press conference. NAPA has partnered with Gandhara Independent Films for this grand cinematic event, which is slated to run from October 20 to 22.<\/p>\n

The festival\u2019s programme encompasses a wide array of 28 films from various countries, all thoughtfully curated with English subtitles to ensure accessibility to a global audience. The selection also features a collection of short films from Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Among the festival\u2019s highlights is the screening of the iconic Pakistani feature film \u2018Aina,\u2019 directed by Nazarul Salaam in 1977. Moreover, \u2018Madari,\u2019 a film released just a year ago and featuring NAPA graduates, will also be a highlight of the festival\u2019s lineup.<\/p>\n

The festival will also offer a window into the world of music with the documentary \u2018Sound of Sufi\u2019 and a production by the Sindh Culture Department titled \u2018Mai Bakhtawar.\u2019<\/p>\n

The festival will include special sessions, including a meet-and-greet with the legendary actress Mumtaz from the past, a panel discussion featuring renowned actress Beo Zafar, and a screening of \u201812 Hours\u2019 by Sahabzade Emeri Ahmed Mirza.<\/p>\n

The festival will culminate with a mesmerising Qawwali performance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
