Elon Musk may help Amber Heard to reprise her role as \u2013 Mera \u2013 for the DC Comic sequel 2018 movie \u201cAquaman.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

After the success of the first movie \u2013 which grossed over $1 billion at the worldwide box office \u2013 Amber Heard\u2019s return to play her role as \u2013 Mera \u2013 in \u201cAquaman and the Lost Kingdom,\u201d which is set to be released on Christmas this year.<\/p>\n

Amber Heard\u2019s role in the movie was in grave danger after her defamation trial with her former husband Johnny Depp heavily publicized.<\/p>\n

However, Variety magazine \u2013 a weekly entertainment magazine with broad coverage of movies, television, theater, and more \u2013 reported that the partner organization of DC Comics \u2013 Warner Bros \u2013 began to discuss leaving the actress out of the sequel after the first movie was released in 2018, years before the defamation trial.<\/p>\n

Sources of the magazine reporter claimed that the studio and director \u2013 James Wan \u2013 wanted to release her from the movie due to a lack of chemistry with the actor, Jason Momoa \u2013 who played the role of a superhero in the movie.<\/p>\n

The magazine sources also maintained that Wan even sent a letter to her lawyer \u2013 Karl Austen \u2013 to inform him of the decision.<\/p>\n

This was the moment when Musk stepped in.<\/p>\n

\u201cMusk in a letter to Warner bros, \u2018threatened to burn the house down\u2019 if the actress was dropped from the sequel,\u201d a source familiar with the situation told Variety.<\/p>\n

The insider requested Representatives for Heard, Musk, Musk\u2019s lawyer, and Warner Bros to comment which didn\u2019t get an immediate response.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning here that the actor had an on-and-off relationship with the billionaire until 2018, when Musk started dating the singer Grimes also known as Claire Boucher.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
