Google’s Search Generative Experience can now generate images using a text input.<\/p>\n

Back in March, Microsoft launched the same feature for Bing Chat using OpenAI\u2019s DALL-E mode. Keeping up with the competition, Google has also followed suit.<\/p>\n

Once a user has opted for SGE through Google\u2019s Search Labs program, they can type a query into the Google search bar. SGE will then create a few images based on the prompt. As per The Verge<\/a>, Google’s new feature is powered by the Imagen family of AI models. The GIF below shows how the feature works.<\/p>\n

Google<\/a> is making sure that it rolls out the feature responsibly. As per the statement in its blog, the company added, “Every image generated through SGE will have metadata labelling and embedded watermarking to indicate that it was created by AI. The image generation capability is only available in English in the United States, to people who opted into the SGE experiment and who are 18 years or older.”<\/p>\n

The company will continue adding more tools to this feature to safeguard the experience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
