Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar presided over a meeting to review the performance of Police Tahaffuz Marakaz at the Central Police Office, in which the team of Mandi Bahauddin Police, while presenting a report on the performance of six months to IG Punjab, said that Police Tahaffuz Marakaz Mandi Bahauddin provided policing, social welfare services to 881 citizens. PTM Mandi Bahauddin signed MOUs with 07 social welfare organizations to provide quick relief to various citizens facing different problems. PTM Mandi Bahauddin provide assistance to 201 victims of social insecurity, 432 character certificates, 124 missing reports, 35 crime reports, copy of FIR to 14 people and general police verification of 75 people were done. Similarly, 38 people from the transgender community, 29 homeless children and 38 drug addicts were provided various facilities including treatment. PTM Mandi Bahauddin provided assiatance to 61 hearing and speech impaired persons, referred 38 persons in old age home and 21 mentally handicapped persons for treatment. The in-charge protection center said that the number of citizens benefitting from PTM is increasing every month.<\/p>\n

IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar while appreciating the performance of PTM said that the platform should provide social security to more and more citizens.<\/p>\n
