SHHIKARPUR: Five policemen have been \u2018abducted\u2019 along with weapons by dacoits in the katcha area of Sindh\u2019s Shikarpur, ARY News reported on Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to sources, dacoits attacked a police check post at Kot Shahoo locality of a katcha area and \u2018took\u2019 five policemen hostage.<\/p>\n

SHO Kot Shahu, Mehboob Brohi, and Head Muhrar are among the five policemen \u2018kidnapped\u2019 by the dacoits. The dacoits fled toward katcha along with the abductees.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, heavy contingents of police have been summoned for the operation to recover the \u2018abducted\u2019 cops.<\/p>\n

It is to be noted that the Caretaker government of Sindh is carrying out an operation against the dacoits in katcha area to restore law and order situation.<\/p>\n

Earlier to this, five cops were reportedly abducted along with the weapons by the dacoits in katcha area of Kandhkot.<\/p>\n

The dacoits released four of the officials, however, one official namely Mumtaz Tanori \u2013 a resident of Shikarpur \u2013 was still being captivated.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
