There was bad news for Hollywood director Guillermo del Toro\u2019s fans as Disney will not produce his film on the \u2018Star Wars<\/em>\u2018 villain \u201c<\/span>Jabba the Hutt\u201c.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Guillermo del Toro is known for his love of making films about monsters. Earlier, the Hollywood director had sent fans of the \u2018Star Wars<\/em>\u2018 franchise into a frenzy by announcing that he is working on a film.<\/span><\/p>\n

He did not disclose the details of the project then, but it never got to see the light at the end as Disney cancelled his project altogether.<\/span><\/p>\n

Guillermo del Toro, in an interview, confirmed that it was about the influential gangster. The director said he was very excited to work on \u201cThe Rise and Fall of Jabba the Hutt<\/em>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe had \u2018The Rise and Fall of Jabba the Hutt<\/em>\u2018, so I was super happy,\u201d he said. \u201cWe were doing a lot of stuff, and then it\u2019s not my property, it\u2019s not my money, and then it\u2019s one of those 30 screenplays that goes away. Sometimes I\u2019m bitter, sometimes I\u2019m not. I always turn to my team and say, \u2018Good practice, guys. Good practice. We designed a great world. We designed great stuff. We learned.’\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The director added that a person can never be ungrateful with life, adding there was something to be learned from whatever life sends at them.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo, you know, I trust the universe, I do. When something doesn\u2019t happen, I go, \u2018Why?\u2019 I try to have a dialogue with myself. \u2018Why didn\u2019t it happen?\u2019 And the more you swim upstream with the universe, the less you\u2019re gonna realize where you\u2019re going,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n
