A human rights organisation, Justice Project Pakistan (JPP), joined forces with the Olomopolo creative platform to present \u2018Caught!\u2019 — an escape room experience designed to shed light on the intersection of the death penalty and torture. <\/span><\/p>\n

Coinciding with World Day Against the Death Penalty on October 10, the three-day event aimed to engage, educate, and inspire visitors by immersing them in the complexities of the criminal justice system and the consequences of capital punishment.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to a statement, the event, featuring creative design and direction by US artiste Ryan Van Winkle, is aimed at delivering a powerful message about the urgent need to reduce the application of the death penalty. <\/span><\/p>\n

The event took place at Lahore\u2019s historic Bari Studios from October 6 to 8.<\/span><\/p>\n

Participants entering the escape room found themselves thrust into a high-stakes scenario reminiscent of capital punishment cases. Through solving puzzles and unraveling clues, they grappled with the moral, ethical and legal dilemmas that permeate the life-and-death decisions.<\/p>\n
