Security forces killed a terrorist in Razmak area of North Waziristan district during an exchange of fire with the militants, the military said in a statement on Sunday.<\/p>\n

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the incident took place on Saturday during which terrorist Azeem Ullah aka Ghazi was killed due to effective engagement by Pakistani troops.<\/p>\n

It said that weapon and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorist who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent civilians.<\/p>\n

\u201cLocals of the area appreciated the operation. Sanitisation of the area has been carried out to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area,\u201d the statement further said.<\/p>\n

A day earlier, at least two terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by the security forces in the general area of Zerber in Balochistan\u2019s Kech district on reported presence of terrorists on the night between Oct 6 and 7.<\/p>\n

During the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists as a result of which \u201ctwo terrorists were sent to hell\u201d, ISPR said.<\/p>\n

A large quantity of equipment and explosives has also been recovered, the ISPR said, adding that the killed terrorists had been actively involved in multiple terrorist activities against the law enforcement agencies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
