He said, \u201cHappy 20th Anniversary\u2014\u2014World Champion, KIM COLLINS, 2003. 0n 25th August 2003, Kim Collins won the 100m WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP; 10:07 seconds.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-1\" style=\"margin: 8px 0; clear: both;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbiu.gov.dm\" target=\"_blank\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">On August 25th, 2003, the legendary Kim Collins secured a GOLD MEDAL for St Kitts and Nevis in the 100m at the IAAF World Championships in Paris, becoming the first <a href=\"https:\/\/channel24.pk\/michael-martin-positions-st-kitts-and-nevis-cbi-programme-as-superior-choice-for-hnwis\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Caribbean<\/a> athlete to achieve this prestigious honour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">TODAY, the entire federation of St Kitts and Nevis salutes Kim Collins for this impressive achievement and the pride he brought to the nation and the Caribbean. \u201cLet\u2019s relive that glorious day and celebrate TWENTY YEARS of this thrilling victory,\u201d said the sports ministry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Kim Collins said his victory proved that small countries can produce big champions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cIt shows everybody that, look man, there are some other people in the world who can do things also,\u201d Collins said. \u201cYou don\u2019t have to be from a big country, a rich country, a rich family.
