{"id":11583,"date":"2023-10-06T21:47:04","date_gmt":"2023-10-06T21:47:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/rapper-drake-says-taking-break-from-music-over-health-issue\/"},"modified":"2023-10-06T21:47:04","modified_gmt":"2023-10-06T21:47:04","slug":"rapper-drake-says-taking-break-from-music-over-health-issue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakistaninewspaperlist.com\/news\/rapper-drake-says-taking-break-from-music-over-health-issue\/","title":{"rendered":"Rapper Drake says taking break from music over health issue"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-td-block-uid=\"tdi_98\">\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<p><strong>Canadian rapper Drake said Friday he is taking a break from music, just hours after dropping his latest album, in order to focus on recurring stomach issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI probably won\u2019t make music for a little bit, I\u2019m gonna be honest,\u201d he said on his SiriusXM radio show Table For One, adding: \u201cI need to focus on my health first and foremost\u2026 I need to get right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been having the craziest problems for years with my stomach,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>The 36-year-old Grammy Award winner had just released his latest studio album \u201cFor All The Dogs.\u201d Long-awaited, it features Bad Bunny, J. Cole, SZA, Lil Yachty and a Frank Ocean sample.<\/p>\n<p>His five-year-old son Adonis drew the artwork for the cover and was featured in a music video for a new single off the album called \u201c8AM in Charlotte.\u201d He also raps on the track \u201cDaylight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Drake\u2019s hiatus has forced the cancellation or postponement of several upcoming concerts in the United States, according to his website and Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n<p>But Friday and Saturday shows scheduled in Toronto, where fans were already seen lining up, appeared to still be a go.<\/p>\n<p>Drake mentioned that he would also meet unspecified commitments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got some other things I need to do for some other people that I made promises,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise, he said, \u201cI\u2019m gonna lock the door in the studio for a little bit,\u201d Drake said. \u201cI don\u2019t even know what a little bit is.
