Zaka Ashraf, Chairman Management Committee PCB, honoured Pakistan’s Blind Cricket team<\/a> and their officials on Friday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore for winning gold medal at the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) World Games 2023, held in Birmingham.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Pakistan Blind cricket team demonstrated skills and resilience in the IBSA World Games, emerging as the champions beating India twice in the tournament.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In the T20 format, in a five-team tournament, Pakistan remained unbeaten and defeated India, Bangladesh, Australia and England before clinching the medal by defeating India again by eight wickets on 26 August 2023.<\/p>\n

In recognition of their remarkable success, Mr Zaka Ashraf<\/a>, presented each player and official with a cheque of Rs 300,000 as a token of appreciation and encouragement for their continued dedication to the sport.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
