Off-the-shelf streaming platforms typically fall short in senior living, requiring personal logins and app navigation that many residents can\u2019t or won\u2019t manage. The TotalVue platform also doubles as a communication hub. Communities can use branded channels to broadcast dining menus, activity calendars, event announcements, emergency alerts, and more directly onto residents’ TVs. They can also send targeted messages straight to an individual resident’s screen, whether it’s a quick wellness check or a heads-up that a package is waiting. Because the message requires the resident to acknowledge it, staff know it’s been seen. In addition, accessibility features, including higher contrast, larger text, and closed captions, come standard on every screen.<\/p>\n
