The second partnership between the outdoor footwear brand and London-based label reimagines Merrell\u2019s iconic slide silhouette in two premium suede colorways.<\/em><\/p>\n

ROCKFORD, Mich., Sept. 11, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE)<\/a> — Merrell,<\/a>\u00a0the global outdoor footwear brand, and London-based\u00a0fashion brand\u00a0YMC come together for the second time to launch\u00a0new colours\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Moab 2 Slide x YMC.\u00a0Available in Black and Dark Walnut, the limited-edition collaboration brings YMC\u2019s understated, utility-led design language to a Merrell icon built for comfort, versatility and everyday wear.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

YMC, short for \u201cYou Must Create,\u201d is both a mission statement and a call to action. Founded in\u00a01995,\u00a0the brand is known for thoughtful,\u00a0functional\u00a0design\u00a0drawing influence from workwear, subculture, music and art. In its latest partnership with Merrell, YMC brings their\u00a0creative point of view to the Moab 2 Slide, balancing the silhouette\u2019s outdoor DNA with premium materials and\u00a0an\u00a0elevated finish.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The Moab 2 Slide x YMC features a hairy suede upper, easy slip-on construction and a protective rubber\u00a0toe cap\u00a0for durability. A leather footbed cover adds a premium underfoot feel, while Merrell Air Cushion in the heel helps absorb shock and add stability. The style is finished\u00a0with\u00a0a Vibram Ecostep Recycle outsole designed with 30% recycled rubber for durability and grip on wet and dry surfaces.\u00a0<\/p>\n
