Fr\u00f8ya, 6 September 2026 \u2013 Kaldv\u00edk AS (\u201cKaldv\u00edk\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d) has experienced a jellyfish event at its farming sites in Rey\u00f0arfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur.<\/p>\n
The 2025 generation has experienced approximately 0.3 percentage points of additional mortality since Friday, 4 September, as a result of the event. As a precautionary measure, Kaldv\u00edk has initiated harvesting from selected cages to reduce the risk of further losses.<\/p>\n
The situation is currently stable and continues to be closely monitored. The 2026 generation, which is located in a different fjord, has not been affected by the event.<\/p>\n
The Company will provide further updates when appropriate.<\/p>\n
