VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Aug. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE)<\/a> — Patagonia Gold Corp. (\u201cPatagonia Gold\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d) provides an update regarding its Calcatreu Project (\u201cCalcatreu\u201d or the \u201cProject\u201d) in R\u00edo Negro Province, Argentina.<\/p>\n

On August 19, 2026, following an inspection at Calcatreu, the R\u00edo Negro Secretariat of Labour ordered the preventive, partial and temporary suspension of certain operational activities at the Project.<\/p>\n

The Company is currently assessing the scope of the measure and is cooperating fully with the relevant provincial authorities to address the matters raised, with a view to resuming operations as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

While the measure remains in effect, essential activities required for the maintenance and health and safety of the site will continue.<\/p>\n

The Company remains committed to the continued development of Calcatreu and to generating long-term value for our shareholders, employees, local communities and the Province of R\u00edo Negro.<\/p>\n
