In an exceptional demonstration of integrity and duty, a Pakistan Railways police officer found a woman passenger using a doctor’s prescription and returned her purse having precious valuables, Express News<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n

The incident unfolded when Bushra, a resident of Islamabad, disembarked from Subak Kharam Express at Chaklala railway station on Thursday, inadvertently leaving behind her purse.<\/p>\n

This purse contained a substantial sum of Rs144,000, four gold rings valued in hundreds of thousands, an ATM card, and an identity card. The oversight prompted a diligent response from Railways Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Idrees, who was on duty at Chaklala railway station.<\/p>\n

ASI Idrees took possession of the purse and initiated efforts to locate its rightful owner. He successfully tracked down the passenger, Bushra, by using the contact number listed on a medical prescription found within the purse. After verifying her identity, the valuable purse was securely returned to Bushra’s son.<\/p>\n

Upon the return of her precious belongings, Bushra expressed her gratitude to the railways police personnel for their outstanding honesty and commendable initiative.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
