QUETTA:<\/strong> The Balochistan government has decided to take legal action against the former provincial ministers, advisers, and parliamentary secretaries for their failure to return official vehicles.<\/p>\n

The government has decided to register cases against the former lawmakers who failed to return official vehicles, a well-placed official at the Balochistan Home and tribal affairs department.\u00a0The official requested anonymity since he was not authorized to speak to the media.<\/p>\n

100 official vehicles missing<\/h2>\n

The former lawmakers have yet to return around 100 vehicles for the last more than two months. Despite repeated notices and requests, the former lawmakers are reluctant to return the official vehicles.<\/p>\n

The Balochistan Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) issued repeated letters to the former ministers, parliamentary secretaries, and advisers in this regard. The former lawmakers have been misusing official vehicles for the last more than two months, another officer of the S&GAD revealed.<\/p>\n

Legal action being taken against former ministers<\/h2>\n

\u2018We will take legal action against the former ministers\u201d, Jan Achakzai, the caretaker information minister in Balochistan said. He said the home department and police have been instructed to lodge first information reports (FIRs) against former ministers to mount pressure on them to return official vehicles.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe urge the former ministers to return official vehicles\u201d, Mr. Achakzai said. He said the provincial government was trying to solve the issue of missing vehicles amicably and trying to convince the former lawmakers to return vehicles.<\/p>\n
