President Asif Ali Zardari graced the occasion along with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Chairman Senate Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani and Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq were also present.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan Observer Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Faisal Zahid Malik also graced the \u00a0ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The Chinese delegation was led by Cao Dafeng, who attended as head of the visiting delegation. Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong also participated in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Speakers on the occasion reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to further deepen cooperation in multiple fields, including trade, investment, infrastructure development, and regional connectivity under the China\u2013Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). They described the Pakistan\u2013China relationship as a time-tested partnership based on mutual trust and shared interests.<\/p>\n<p>The event also reflected on the historical evolution of bilateral ties, which have expanded from diplomatic engagement to a broad-based strategic cooperation encompassing economic, defense, and cultural collaboration.
