The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday cautioned \u201cwarmongering\u201d India against pushing South Asia towards another war after its army chief made provocative remarks about Pakistan.<\/p>\n
\u201cIndian COAS gave a provocative statement during a recent interview that \u2018Pakistan should decide if it desired to be part of geography and history\u2019,\u201d ISPR noted in a statement issued in response to Indian Army Chief Gen Upendra Dwivedi\u2019s comments.<\/p>\n
\u201cContrary to the delusional and hallucinational belief system and despite the omnipresent ill wishes that prevail in Hindutva-led India, Pakistan is already a country of consequence at global level, a declared nuclear power and an indelible part of South Asia\u2019s geography and history,\u201d the ISPR said.<\/p>\n
It observed that the statement reflected that the \u201cIndian leadership has neither been able to reconcile with the very idea of Pakistan nor it has learnt the right lessons, even after passage of eight decades\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis hubristic, jingoistic and myopic mindset has repeatedly pushed South Asia towards wars and crises,\u201d the military\u2019s media affairs wing highlighted.<\/p>\n
