A 38-year-old man was found murdered in Hanjarwal on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Police were alerted via emergency helpline 15 after the blood-soaked body was discovered on the rooftop of a house near Shahenshah Chowk on Niaz Beg Road. The victim’s throat had been slit, officials said.<\/p>\n
Hanjarwal SHO Imran Gujjar said the police reached the scene, cordoned off the area and collected forensic evidence. The body was shifted to a mortuary for post-mortem examination.<\/p>\n
The victim, Muhammad Rasool, was a labourer from Charsadda who had been living in the area with his family for the past few months.<\/p>\n

Officials said the house had been found locked from outside, while the victim’s wife was reportedly missing from the residence.<\/p>\n
