She has remained in federal custody since her arrest in August 2024. Addressing the court, Sangha expressed deep remorse, stating, \u201cI pray for forgiveness every day,\u201d and described the sentence as a \u201charsh reality check.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"1016\">Perry\u2019s stepfather, Keith Morrison, acknowledged the ruling calling it a \u201cwell-reasoned sentence.\u201d While expressing the family\u2019s profound grief he remarked, \u201cWe miss Matthew deeply,\u201d and noted that the outcome offered little sense of closure or victory for anyone involved.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1018\" data-end=\"1346\">Federal prosecutors had recommended a 180-month sentence\u00a0highlighting Sangha\u2019s continued involvement in drug distribution even after being aware of the fatal consequences. Court documents described her actions as demonstrating a \u201ccallous disregard for human life,\u201d emphasizing that she prioritized profit over safety.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1390\" data-end=\"1635\">Matthew Perry best known for his portrayal of Chandler Bing in the iconic sitcom Friends had long struggled with substance dependency and was reportedly undergoing ketamine-assisted therapy for depression under medical supervision.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1637\" data-end=\"1803\">Investigators determined that Sangha was one of five individuals, including medical professionals, who supplied ketamine to Perry, exploiting his vulnerability.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1805\" data-end=\"1963\">The actor was found unresponsive in the pool at his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
