Alibaba Group (9988.HK)<\/a> on Tuesday \u200blaunched an artificial intelligence platform for enterprises targeting automation, intensifying \u200ccompetition in China’s rapidly evolving AI agent market following the OpenClaw<\/a> craze that has gripped the country’s tech sector.<\/p>\n

The platform, called \u200bWukong, can coordinate multiple AI agents to handle \u200bcomplex business tasks, including document editing, spreadsheet updates, \u2060meeting transcription and research within a single interface. \u200bIt is currently available for invitation-only beta testing.<\/p>\n

The launch came<\/a> a day after Alibaba unveiled its reorganisation under the newly established Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) business group, signalling a company-wide push into \u200benterprise AI agents. Wukong is the flagship product from \u200bthe Wukong Business Unit under ATH.<\/p>\n

Users can access Wukong as a \u200cstandalone \u2060desktop application or through DingTalk, Alibaba’s collaboration platform, which serves more than 20 million corporate users.<\/p>\n

The platform will connect with other messaging services, including Slack, Microsoft \u200bTeams and WeChat, \u200baccording to \u2060a press release.<\/p>\n

The move comes as OpenClaw, an open-source AI agent tool, has gripped China<\/a> in recent weeks, with users eager to \u200binstall \u2060and experiment with agent products.<\/p>\n

This has prompted tech firms to join the trend even as authorities warn of \u2060security \u200brisks. Companies including ByteDance, Tencent (0700.HK)<\/a> and \u200bAI startup Zhipu have also launched similar offerings.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
