Strong tremors were felt in the Indian national capital New Delhi and neighbouring parts on Tuesday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The National Center for Seismology of India stated on X that an earthquake of 6.2 magnitudes on the Richter scale occurred at 2:51 p.m. local time (1151GMT), with the epicentre in Nepal.<\/p>\n

On Monday, an earthquake of magnitude 5.2 struck the Indian northeastern state of Meghalaya, causing tremors in neighbouring states as well as Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka, and some other parts of the country.<\/p>\n

There was no report of loss of life or damage to property due to the earthquake.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
