Lahore Board submitted formal request to educational authorities, with final decision pending approval from the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"740\" data-end=\"1020\">The move sparked controversy among students. Many argue that exams should stick to original March 1 schedule, suggesting only one-week Eid break, pointing out that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) begins March 23, which could wreak havoc on exam timetables.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1022\" data-end=\"1321\">Punjab is also gearing up for return of 8th-grade board exams after a four-year pause.
