WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has expressed his desire to make America the \u201cchampion\u201d of cryptocurrency.<\/p>\n

In an interview, Trump said that crypto has become the world\u2019s largest industry, and the United States currently leads all countries, including China, in this field. \u201cI want America to be the champion in cryptocurrency,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n

The president noted that China is now rapidly entering the crypto sector but emphasized that he does not want Beijing to overtake the United States.<\/p>\n

Criticizing former president Joe Biden, Trump said Biden initially opposed cryptocurrencies but changed his stance after realizing that crypto supporters were largely backing Trump. \u201cBiden shifted his position just to win votes,\u201d Trump remarked.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) government had announced the implementation of the cryptocurrency policy in the AJK state by following the full implementation of the crypto policy of the government of Pakistan.<\/p>\n

This was stated by Food Minister Chaudhry Akbar Ibrahim and Forest Minister Akmal Hussain Sargala while speaking during a cryptocurrency semina.<\/p>\n

Addressing the seminar, the ministers said that by bringing cryptocurrency into a transparent legal framework, new opportunities can be created for the youth in sectors such as investment, freelancing, and online earning.<\/p>\n

The Forest Minister said that the youth of Azad Kashmir have immense potential and are fully capable of becoming an active part of the modern digital economy.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, CEO of Moon Creations School of Information Technology Salahuddin Shah, while highlighting the educational services of the institution, announced that for the first time, regular cryptocurrency classes are being started in Azad Kashmir.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
