Haroon Akhtar calls for growing industrial, trade partnership with Algeria<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ambassador of Algeria Dr Brahim Romani has reaffirmed enduring friendship between Algeria and Pakistan, recalling that Pakistan was among the first nations to support Algeria\u2019s liberation struggle during the 1955 Bandung Conference and later at the United Nations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe recall with pride and gratitude Pakistan\u2019s unwavering support during our revolution and after independence in 1962,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Ambassador Romani was addressing a reception hosted to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the National Day of the People\u2019s Democratic Republic of Algeria commemorating the historic Glorious Revolution of November 1, 1954.<\/p>\n

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar was the Chief Guest on the occasion.<\/p>\n

The reception served as reaffirmation of the deep bond of bilateral friendship and mutual cooperation between the two nations.<\/p>\n

Among the noted guests included Additional Foreign Secretary (Africa) Amb Hamid Asghar Khan, President and Executive Editor of Pakistan Observer, Mr Gauhar Zahid Malik, MD Observer TV (OTV) Omer Zahid Malik, diplomats particularly from the African and the Arab countries, senior officials of the MoFA, armed forces of Pakistan, members of civil society and academia.<\/p>\n

A cake was also cut and national anthems of both the countries were also played on the occasion.<\/p>\n

Chief Guest Haroon Akhtar on behalf of Prime Minister and people of Pakistan extended congratulations to the Ambassador of Algeria, his entire team and the Algerian nationals and held that Pakistan highly valued relations with Algeria.<\/p>\n

Pakistan, he said is an open, reliable, and rewarding destination for global investors. He said the government is committed to creating a strong regulatory and industrial framework that encourages growth, safeguards partnerships, and empowers investors to play an active role in the country\u2019s economic progress.<\/p>\n

He expressed confidence that through mutual cooperation, Pakistan and Algeria could move forward together in industry, innovation, and prosperity. Extending heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of Algeria on their National Day, Akhtar wished continued progress for the North African nation and reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s desire to strengthen bilateral friendship.<\/p>\n

\u201cMay the bond between Pakistan and Algeria grow even stronger, guided by shared values and a common vision for a better future,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
