ISLAMABAD \u2013 The Deputy Director of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), missing for the past ten days, has still not been recovered, as police investigations continue without any breakthrough.<\/p>\n

During a hearing at the Islamabad High Court (IHC), Justice Azam Khan granted the police an additional week to recover the missing officer, Usman.<\/p>\n

The court also directed authorities to examine the data from the officer\u2019s WhatsApp records to assist in tracing him.<\/p>\n

Justice Azam Khan remarked that the court\u2019s goal was to resolve the matter, not to keep granting new dates. \u201cWe are giving you one more week\u2014recover the abductee,\u201d he instructed the police.<\/p>\n

The court was informed that Usman\u2019s wife, Rozina, has also gone missing. Advocate Rizwan Abbasi, representing the family, told the court that Rozina disappeared after filing a petition in the IHC regarding her husband\u2019s disappearance.<\/p>\n

When asked about progress, the DSP Legal informed the court that investigations were ongoing under the supervision of the SSP Investigation. He disclosed that the missing deputy director had been investigating a case involving TikToker Ducky Bhai, and that other officers associated with the same case had also gone missing. The case, he added, was originally registered in Lahore.<\/p>\n

The court was told that Rozina was first in Lahore and later in Islamabad, with the last available data showing her location until October 18. Her last traced address was on Empress Road, Lahore, after which her phone was switched off. When investigators visited the residence, they found it locked, and were informed that her children were also missing.<\/p>\n

Advocate Abbasi further revealed that Rozina received a threatening call, warning her to withdraw her petition before she went missing.<\/p>\n

Justice Azam Khan observed that Rozina might be staying with relatives or parents, but Abbasi questioned whether she had gone there willingly.<\/p>\n

According to the DSP Legal, the last known location of the missing officer was Sector F-6, Islamabad, and CCTV footage from the area had been reviewed. He added that access to WhatsApp data could provide crucial clues.<\/p>\n

The lawyer argued that an official had been abducted from the federal capital and ten days had passed without progress. The DSP requested one more week to obtain the WhatsApp data, which the court granted.<\/p>\n

The Islamabad High Court subsequently adjourned the hearing until October 31, directing the police to ensure the recovery of the missing officer before the next hearing.<\/p>\n
