Ewan and Colin McGregor, born in 1969 in Perth, Scotland, both loved airplanes as kids and often went to air shows with their dad. While Ewan became an actor, Colin followed his dream of being a fighter pilot in the Royal Air Force (RAF).
After 20 years of service flying Tornado GR4’s, Colin retired in 2007. The brothers teamed up for documentaries like the BBC’s “RAF at 100 with Ewan and Colin McGregor,” exploring the RAF’s history.
