Wastewater pumps’ procurement okayed | The Express Tribune

WASA administration stated that new wastewater pumps would be installed at various disposal stations to improve system


LAHORE:

The Lahore Divisional Development Working Committee (DDWC) chaired by Commissioner Noman Yousaf on Tuesday approved 17 development schemes of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA),

Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) and Board of Revenue.

The schemes included seven proposals by WASA for procurement of wastewater pumps for disposal stations in different towns of and eight MCL schemes for rehabilitation of neighbourhood roads.

The WASA administration stated that new wastewater pumps would be installed at various disposal stations to improve the system.

The deputy and assistant commissioners of the four districts of the division briefed the committee on development schemes of the Board of Revenue.

The committee reviewed all the schemes in detail before approving them.

The commissioner directed the officers concerned to complete development work in every tehsil according to prescribed timelines while ensuring quality standards.
