Punjab’s Minister for School Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat said his team caught several dummy students during a surprise visit to an exam center in Sanda area of city.
Students’ papers were canceled while five staffers of the examination hall were arrested. The minister accused both the examination center and school officials of being involved in the cheating.
Hayat said no one should be allowed to put students’ future in jeopardy. Furthermore, the provincial government also warned other exams centre to check students ID properly to avoid any such incidents in future.
