KASUR – A tragic incident unfolded in an area of Kasur when a son allegedly killed his mother over remarriage.
According to police reports, the victim, Sobia Bibi, had recently entered into a second marriage, which deeply upset her son, Zeeshan. Unable to cope with his feelings of resentment, Zeeshan decided to take matters into his own hands.
On the day of the incident, Zeeshan lured his mother into a nearby sugarcane field, where he attacked her with an axe.
Sobia Bibi died instantly from the brutal assault. The horrifying murder occurred in the Kasur district, leaving the local community in shock.
Police from the Kasur Saddar police station were quick to respond, arriving at the crime scene and securing the body.
Zeeshan was arrested shortly after, and an investigation into the case is currently underway.
