KARACHI- The Sindh government has announced plans to implement an e-challan system in the Sindh Food Authority, following the successful digitalisation of the traffic sector.
Provincial Minister for Food, Makhdoom Mehboob Zaman, held a meeting with PPP Women’s Wing Central President Faryal Talpur, during which he provided a detailed briefing on the Authority’s digitalisation initiatives.
The minister said the Food Authority would soon introduce online registration, a complaint management system, and a digital challaning system to ensure efficient and transparent services for the public.
He also updated Faryal Talpur on recent actions taken against substandard food and provided a comprehensive briefing on the department’s veterinary stock policy.
The meeting highlighted Sindh’s commitment to improving food safety and modernising regulatory processes for the benefit of citizens.
