Security forces kill 13 militants in two KP IBOs: ISPR

Intelligence-based operations carried out in Khyber District’s Bara area and Bannu, ISPR

Security forces have killed 13 militants in two separate intelligence-based operations in the province, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The first operation was conducted in the Bara area of Khyber district, where 10 militants were killed during an intelligence-based raid. In a second operation in Bannu, security forces eliminated three more militants.

According to the ISPR,  these actions are part of ongoing efforts under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” campaign, aimed at intensifying counterterrorism operations across the country.

Security forces, along with law enforcement agencies, reiterated their commitment to eradicating terrorism, particularly threats linked to external support.

A follow-up sanitization operation is currently underway in the affected areas to locate and eliminate any remaining militants.

PM Shehbaz’s Tribute:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised Pakistan’s security forces for successfully eliminating 13 militants during operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, highlighting their professionalism and commitment to national security.

He said that, the operations were carried out in Bannu and Bara, where security personnel acted with precision and expertise to neutralize terrorist elements.

He emphasized that Pakistan’s security forces stand like a “wall of steel” against terrorism, ensuring the safety and stability of the country. Reaffirming the government’s stance, the Prime Minister stated that efforts to eradicate terrorism will continue until it is completely eliminated.
