Rally in Muzaffarabad to express solidarity with Palestinians, Kashmiris – Pakistan Observer

A “Solidarity Palestine and Jammu Kashmir Rally” was organized in Muzaffarabad under the auspices of the refugees of Jammu and Kashmir, in which they demanded the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and the right to self-determination for the Kashmiri people.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the rally started from the Old Secretariat and ended at Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk. The participants of the rally chanted anti-Israel and pro-Palestine and anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.WhatsApp Image 2024-03-30 at 4.54.09 PM

The speakers denounced the massacre of innocent civilians in Palestine and demanded the member states of the Security Council to impose the strictest sanctions on Israel and force it to implement the ceasefire resolution. He paid tribute to more than 33 thousand martyrs in Gaza.

The speakers also rejected the Indian military occupation of Jammu and Kashmir and said India cannot keep the Kashmiri people enslaved for long through military force and terrorist activities.

They called upon the United Nations to ensure the implementation of its adopted resolutions for a just, lasting and sustainable solution to the Jammu and Kashmir conflict.

At the end of the rally, prayers were offered for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs of Palestine and the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir and for the freedom of the holy land of Palestine and the occupied Jammu and Kashmir.WhatsApp Image 2024-03-30 at 4.54.08 PM

In the rally, among others, Muhammad Yusuf Butt, Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, Raja Muhammad Arif Khan, Muhammad Riaz Jaral, Muhammad Latif Lone, Irshad Ahmed Butt, Raja Muhammad Zakhair Khan, Chaudhry Muhammad Mushtaq, Ghulam Hasan Butt, Muhammad Atif Lone, Muhammad Iqbal Yasin, Anzaar Butt, Muhammad Iqbal Mir, Hamid Jameel Kashmiri, Manzoor Iqbal Butt, Muhammad Fayaz Jagwal and Sarandaz Mir also participated.—KMS
