Punjab Police honors its brave martyrs – Pakistan Observer

IGP visited DIG Captain (R) Syed Ahmad Mubeen Shaheed’s residence

Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem, on the occasion of the ninth anniversary of the police martyrs of the Faisal Chowk Mall Road incident, visited the residence of Shaheed DIG Captain (R) Syed Ahmad Mubeen and met with his mother. IG Punjab offered Fatiha (prayers for the departed soul) and special prayers for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks and blessings for his soul.

On this occasion, IG Punjab Abdul Kareem, paying tribute to the great sacrifice of Shaheed DIG Captain (R) Syed Ahmad Mubeen, said that he was an outstanding human being and an extremely professional police officer. His services for the country, the nation, and Punjab Police will always be remembered. IG Punjab said that the sacrifices of police martyrs, who laid down their lives in the line of duty while protecting the country and the nation, are unforgettable. Martyrs’ Day at Charing Cross is a day to renew the pledge to the brave martyrs of Punjab Police. Police officers and personnel attained martyrdom on this very day in 2017 at Faisal Chowk Mall Road, Lahore.

DIG Syed Ahmad Mubeen, SSP ZahidMehmoodGondal, along with seven other police officers and personnel, achieved the rank of martyrdom.
