Adding to the anticipation, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has installed an eye-catching countdown clock outside its Lahore headquarters.
The clock, decorated with engaging images of the captains from all PSL franchises, offers a visual treat for cricket fans. With the tagline “Khul k Khel”, the clock acts as a constant reminder that the main event is fast approaching.
The tradition of setting up a countdown clock two days before the tournament begins has become a beloved ritual. PSL 9, set to start on February 17, 2024, at the PCB’s Lahore headquarters, is expected to be an exciting event. The inaugural match will see the Lahore Qalandars, who have won twice and are the current champions, compete against Islamabad United, the champions of 2016 and 2018.
