Iftikhar Ahmed, the versatile Pakistani cricketer, is set to represent Multan Sultans in the upcoming ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). As part of a trade, Iftikhar has made the move to Multan Sultans, while Rilee Rossouw has returned to his former team, Quetta Gladiators.

In the recent trade deal with Quetta Gladiators, Multan Sultans secured the first pick in the platinum round one by exchanging Rilee Rossouw and the initial Silver category pick.

Iftikhar Ahmed has transformed into a formidable all-rounder, showcasing his prowess in power-hitting and clever off-spin. With an impressive track record of 229 T20 matches since his debut in October 2010, he has amassed 4,476 runs, including a century and 30 half-centuries.

Notably, the robust batter has been consistently hitting boundaries at an impressive rate of one every 6.75 balls. Achieving the milestone of 50 wickets recently, Iftikhar boasts an economy of 7.31 in the T20 format.
