Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edo Mapelli Mozzi, has addressed rumors that the couple have split amid the Epstein scandal involving her parents, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
Edo shared affectionate photos with Beatrice to mark her 38th birthday after growing speculation about the state of their six-year marriage.
According to the claims, the couple had been spending time apart because Edoardo’s business commitments required him to travel overseas.
Rumors also grew that the Jeffrey Epstein scandal surrounding Beatrice’s parents had created tension in their relationship.
Sharing the photos, Edo wrote: “Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife. We love so much. You make our world.”
He signed the message, “Love E,W,S,A xxxx 8.8.88,” using the initials of himself, his 10-year-old son Wolfie from a previous relationship, and his two daughters with Beatrice, 4-year-old Sienna and 1-year-old Athena.
Earlier, Edoardo spoke about spending time with his family, days after reports claimed that the couple had taken a major step to prevent their marriage from ending in divorce.
According to a report by the Examiner, Beatrice and Edoardo are doing everything they can to save their marriage.
When asked what he does to relax, Edoardo replied, “Time with family and friends.”
Sources reportedly told the outlet that the couple had started therapy as a last attempt to improve their relationship.
The source said, “They’re trying to calm all the speculation because the last thing they need right now is more negative attention, but it’s well known among their inner circle that there are some very real problems in the relationship.”
