ISLAMABAD: Petrol price in Pakistan has been increased by RsI.35 to Rs248.38 per litre and High Speed Diesel by Rs3.85 to Rs255.14 per litre from Rs251.29
Kerosene now costs Rs161.54 per litre, a decrease of Rs1.48 from its previous rate of Rs163.02. Similarly, the price of light-diesel oil has dropped by Rs2.61, from Rs150.12 to Rs147.51 per litre.
The government has increased petroleum products prices despite decrease in POL product in the international market.
“The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has calculated consumer prices for petroleum products in line with international market fluctuations,” stated the Finance Division in a release on Thursday night.
