LAHORE:
Former chief minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf president Pervaiz Elahi said on Thursday that the people of the country will not let the PML-N ‘rig the upcoming elections‘.
Speaking to the media during a court appearance, Elahi added that Nawaz Sharif’s party is fearful of Imran Khan’s popularity, hence the former premier is approaching politicians in other provinces for electoral alliances.
“The PML-N can not deceive the public with their unfulfilled commitments and promises.”
Elahi added that the Sharif brothers are dealing with an inadequate number of candidates in the upcoming elections.
Criticising the previous Shehbaz Sharif-led government, the PTI leader said the country suffered for sixteen months under flawed policies which led to record-high inflation.

While expressing his views on the caretaker setup, Elahi questioned to what extent this government would facilitate the PML-N.
Pervaiz Elahi expressed his unwavering support for PTI in the future and said the ‘Baloch chieftains‘ rejected the ‘laadlas’ (favourites).
