PCB confirms schedule for West Indies tour of Pakistan
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the schedule for the West Indies men’s cricket team’s upcoming tour of Pakistan. The tour includes two ICC World Test Championship matches and a warm-up game.
The West Indies team will arrive in Islamabad on January 6, 2025, ahead of the Test series. From January 10 to 12, they will play a three-day warm-up match against Pakistan Shaheens at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The two Test matches will be held at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The first test is scheduled for January 17 to 21, while the second test will be from January 25 to 29.
This will be the West Indies’ first Test series in Pakistan in 19 years, with their last tour taking place in 2006. The most recent Test series between the two teams was held in the UAE in 2016, and since 2018, the West Indies have visited Pakistan for limited-overs matches, including ODIs and T20Is.
Tour Schedule:
- January 10-12: Three-day match vs. Pakistan Shaheens, Rawalpindi
- January 17-21: First Test, Multan
- January 25-29: Second Test, Multan

- First Session: 09:30-12:00
- Second Session: 12:40-14:40 (13:00-15:00 on Fridays)
- Third Session: 15:00-16:30 (15:20-16:50 on Fridays)
The series promises exciting cricket action and marks a historic return of West Indies Test cricket to Pakistan.
