LAHORE – Another shocking incident of sexual assault reported from Lahore as Salman Qadir, son of former Pakistani Test cricket legend Abdul Qadir, has been arrested after being accused of raping a domestic worker.
According to FIR lodged under Section 376 of PPC, the victim claims that Salman Qadir lured her by asking her to come to work urgently. When she arrived at housing society gate, he forced her into his car and took her to a farmhouse, where she was allegedly subjected to sexual assault.
The case was registered at Burki Police Station after the victim formally filed a complaint. Law enforcement authorities have since arrested Salman Qadir, confirming that he is facing charges of sexual assault on a domestic worker.
Salman Qadir is known to run a cricket academy in Lahore, where he teaches aspiring young cricketers, raising serious concerns among parents and the public about his conduct.
This shocking allegation not only put Salman Qadir under the media spotlight but also brought renewed scrutiny on the family of the late cricketing icon Abdul Qadir.
