Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori has asserted that Pakistan has demonstrated its robust defensive capabilities to the world, including India, following recent hostilities.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) in Islamabad, Tessori thanked FPCCI President Atif Ikram and the business community for their unwavering support.
He said the coordinated response from Pakistan’s Armed Forces to the Indian aggression on May 7 showcased the nation’s strength and resolve.
“Pakistan does not seek war, but our silence and restraint should never be mistaken for weakness,” Tessori warned, adding that the country has stood firm against adversaries since 1947.
Praising the patriotic spirit of overseas Pakistanis and the business community, the governor emphasized their pivotal role in national development.
He called on stakeholders to help craft policies that could steer the country away from reliance on foreign loans.
“With such unity and commitment, the business sector can become a driving force for economic stability,” he said.
Tessori also lauded all political parties for setting aside their differences and standing united at a critical moment.
He said this collective show of solidarity reflects the strength of a nation determined to protect its sovereignty and build a prosperous future.
