The Pakistan Hockey Federation announced a training camp for national senior potential players in preparation for the FIH Pro Hockey League.
The camp will begin from November 24 at the Naseer Banda Hockey Stadium in Islamabad.
The Pro Hockey League will be held in Rosario, Argentina from December 9 to 14, 2025.
According to the announcement, all selected officials and players have been instructed to report to the camp commandant at the Naseer Banda Hockey Stadium on November 24 at 5 pm.
The best 31 players and seven officials from across the country have been called for the camp.
The team officials include Olympian Anjum Saeed (Manager), Olympian Tahir Zaman (Head Coach), Olympian Muhammad Usman, Olympian Zeeshan Ashraf (Assistant Coaches), Mukhtar Ahmed (Trainee Coach), Nadeem Khan Lodhi (Video Analyst), and Muhammad Aslam (Mysore).
Players from different departmental outfits called to the camp include goalkeepers Abdullah Ishtiaq Khan (Mari Energies), Muneeb-ur-Rehman (WAPDA), Waqar (WAPDA), Ali Raza (PAF).
Defenders Sufyan Khan (Customs), Muhammad Abdullah (Mari Energies), Hammaduddin Anjum (WAPDA), Abdul Manan (PAF), Imad Shakeel Butt (NBP), Osama Bashir (PAF), Arbaaz Ahmed (Mari Energies), Abu Bakr Mahmood (NBP).
Midfielders Moin Shakeel (WAPDA), Zakaria Hayat (Navy), Ghazanfar Ali (Mari Energies), Arshad Liaquat (Mari Energies), Junaid Manzoor (NBP), Salman Razaq (WAPDA), Izhar-ul-Haq (Punjab).
Strikers Abdul Hanan Shahid (WAPDA), Abdul Rehman (PAF), Afraz (Mari Energies), Rana Waheed (WAPDA), Rana M. Waleed (Navy), Ahmed Nadeem (Mari Energies), Mohammad Imad (Customs), Abdul Qayyum (Customs), Basharat Ali (Navy), and Umeer Sattar (Mari Energies).
