Pakistan Condemns Houthi Attack on Riyadh Airport

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has strongly condemned the Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, expressing deep concern over the incident, ARY News reported.

In a statement on X, Ishaq Dar said Pakistan was praying for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack, particularly six Pakistani nationals.

He said targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure was completely unacceptable, adding that the attack violated international law and posed a serious threat to regional peace and security.

“Such actions must stop immediately,” the deputy prime minister said.

Ishaq Dar said Pakistan was in contact with Saudi authorities and closely monitoring the situation.

He added that the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh had been directed to assist the injured Pakistani nationals.

The deputy prime minister expressed solidarity with the Saudi leadership and people, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to Saudi Arabia’s security under the defence agreement between the two countries.
