LAHORE: In a joint press conference held by selector Aaqib Javed and head coach Mike Hesson, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially unveiled the 17-member squad for the upcoming UAE T20I Tri-series and the Asia Cup. The team will be captained by Salman Ali Agha.
The two-part tour begins with a tri-nation series in Sharjah from August 29 to September 7, featuring Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the United Arab Emirates.
Following this, the highly anticipated Asia Cup is scheduled to be held from September 9 to 28 across Abu Dhabi and Dubai, where Pakistan will compete against the continent’s best teams.
The squad features a blend of established players and emerging talent. Alongside Captain Salman Ali Agha, the team includes key players such as Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah, and Haris Rauf. The selectors have also brought in promising cricketers like Saim Ayub, Khushdil Shah, and Hussain Talat.
