‘Open Vulgarity’ – Mishi Khan exposes Karachi Halloween parties – Pakistan Observer

KARACHI – Pakistani actress and TV host Mishi Khan has stirred a social media storm with her recent comments about Halloween parties held in Karachi, which she described as examples of “open vulgarity.”

Known for voicing her opinions on social and moral issues, Khan released a new video statement condemning these events as both legally and morally concerning. She alleged that a particular Halloween party in Karachi recently hosted “same-sex couples”, calling it a sign of growing disregard for social values.

“I’ve been informed that this event went beyond all moral boundaries, yet no action was taken by the authorities,” Khan claimed. She added that while some may dismiss her words as moral preaching, she feels obligated to “speak the truth.”

Khan called the situation a “wake-up call” for society, questioning why such gatherings are allowed to take place openly without restrictions.

Her statement triggered intense debate online. Many social media users supported her stance, calling her remarks “absolutely correct” and urging authorities to act against such events. Others, however, criticized what they saw as unnecessary moral policing and accused her of exaggerating the issue.
